What are the room rates of Green Valley Resort?

The place being atop a hill gets the first ray of sun early in the morning which is often a far cry for the Kathmandu valley during the winters. The morning stroll around the holiday house is amazing with the balmy hilltop during the winters and during the summers, the cool breeze blowing atop the hill provides a comfortable atmosphere to relax.

The place is easily accessed on a vehicle of your own or you could also ask for transportation with the resort manager. The resort is located about two kilometers inside the part, beyond the entry gate, near the village of Dandagaon accessed through the dirt track. The resort, however, does not have signboards or anything as such. The view from the resort is splendid with the beautiful Kathmandu valley seen from above and the city lights during the evening and night seem to reflect the stars in the sky against the dark night. However, the guests are expected to enter the park by 6:30 as they are not allowed entrance after that.

The resort which was formerly the residence of Tom Chris, the architect of the Tea House Inn in Nagarkot and the Riverside Springs Resort at Kurintar has preserved the original look of the property. The two houses of the resort are neatly furnished with décor and fittings that make it homey and warm. The space between the two houses, too, has been managed in a way that the guests living their neither feels lonely nor intruded.

It is close to Tamang villages which lets you take a cultural walk around the villages and have a conversation with them. Also, the view from here is magnificent with the Langtang range seen at the backdrop on a clear day. The stroll around the park will let you observe various species of flora and fauna. Green Valley Resort is a perfect getaway for spending peaceful, quiet, and pleasant quality time with your family.
